Dr Mumin Noor 


Dr Mumin Noor is a Consultant Cardiologist at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust and Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals (Part of Guys & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust). He gained his undergraduate medical degrees at Imperial College London and Cardiff University. He then completed general medical training in both tertiary and district hospitals in London. 

Following a period of research at Harefield Hospital, he completed his cardiology training in the North West Thames rotation (London Deanery). His sub-speciality training was in Heart Failure and Complex Cardiac Devices at the Hammersmith Hospital, Royal Brompton Hospital and Harefield Hospital. 

Research interests
Dr Mumin Noor was awarded a Clinical Research Fellowship at the prestigious Harefield Hospital Transplant Unit in 2010. He gained Medical Doctorate research degree (MD Res) studying advance heart failure and mechanical circulatory support at the National Heart and Lung Institute (NHLI), Imperial College London.

His current clinical research interests include cardiac device therapy in heart failure patients.

Publications
Dr Mumin Noor has published in many peer-reviewed articles including:

  • Heart
He has recently co-authored a chapter titled ‘Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy for Heart Failure’ in a textbook published by Springer Publishing.

Teaching
Dr Mumin Noor has an interest in medical education and regularly trains undergraduate medical students. He is also an examiner for Imperial College Medical School OSCE tests.
He has been teaching the Harefield Hospital PACES courses since 2013.

Debra has been working in the medical profession as a medical PA for nearly 26 years and Cardiology for the past 15 years both in the NHS and private sectors.
Priding herself in being professional, friendly and understanding , Debra is very approachable and is the first point of contact for patients.




Janet McGuire

I have always worked as a secretary initially for Trans World Airlines and then, following a break to raise my family, I joined Brunel University. After 15 years there, I commenced employment with Dr Richard Bogle and worked with him and his private practice until his retirement. I am delighted to continue supporting Dr Noor and Debra in order to ensure the smooth running of the private practice.
